DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The ideal candidate will provide technical and leadership support for Central Maintenance technicians for proactive work implementation and policy integration to meet the business goals of AM/NS Calvert.
The Basics:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, similar degree, OR 5+ years of military leadership experience, OR 4+ years of leadership experience in a steel mill
- Minimum 5 years’ heavy industrial mechanical or electrical maintenance experience
- Minimum 3 years’ maintenance supervisory experience
- Industrial mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience with proper use of mechanical and electrical hand tools and test equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and web applications
The Extras:
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Experience with maintenance and repair of gantry and overhead cranes

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Utilizes assigned resources to maintain Lifting and Handling Equipment
- Leads maintenance technicians to perform planned repairs
- Trains maintenance technicians
- Performs time administrator duties
- Responsible for performance management
