This posting is for one unionized contractual appointment. A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM).

Position Summary:
This requisition is for one position, at 100 hours, in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology. Effective dates of appointment are from January 1 to April 25, 2025. Course dates are January 6 to April 11, 2025.

Responsibilities may include:
Marking
Preparing Class Materials
Leading Discussion Groups
Teaching selected components of the course related to TA experience in qualitative methods
Assisting Students' Learning
Will be required to attend class lectures (Fridays from 8:35AM to 11:25AM)
Qualifications:
Must be a current Ph.D. student
Successfully completed EDPE 687, or an equivalent graduate qualitative methods course
Experience using MyCourses for course management
Previous experience conducting and/or analyzing qualitative
research preferredKnowledge in French may be required.
