Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Information Technology Manager to oversee our IT department and ensure the effective management of our technology resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, information security, and network support. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects while ensuring the integrity and security of our systems. This position will manage a team of six employees. Proven leadership ability is essential. This position is not eligible for employment sponsorship. Duties
- Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet organizational goals and deadlines.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and maintain business continuity.
- Oversee network support activities, including troubleshooting LAN issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Ensure information security protocols are in place, regularly updated, and adhered to by all staff.
- Manage cloud services, particularly AWS, to optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain documentation for IT processes, policies, and procedures.
- Provide training and support to staff on IT systems, including software such as SQL and Word.
- Proven experience in IT management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and practices.
- Proficient in IT project management methodologies.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Solid understanding of network support principles, particularly LAN configurations.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and Microsoft Word applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in information technology or project management are a plus.
