The Account Executive will be responsible for achieving the sales and service objectives for Universal Engineering Sciences. The Account Executive is responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional business relationship with existing and prospective customers and growing the business with each customer.   QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Physical Demands & Work Environment• Required to drive, stand, walk, use hands to type, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, talk, and hear; body motions and movements include: bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, pulling, kneeling, lifting, carrying, and pushing • Lifting and/or moving up to 35 lbs regularly on average, and up to 75 lbs on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation • This job is located in Florida, with exposure to intense sun, intense heat, humidity, rain, thunderstorms, and other adverse weather conditions . 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Continue to build existing customer business relationships within the assigned territory
  • Develop additional business lines with existing customers
  • Develop new business relationships within assigned territory
  • Research former business relationships for new opportunities
  • Research project opportunities utilizing Construction Journal and other sources
  • Utilize CRM Program to track and monitor leads, contacts, proposals, and sales goals
  • Generate proposals
  • Track calls, proposals, and contacts
  • Daily interaction with clients/prospects
  • Assist Operations and Accounting when needed
  • Perform cold calls to generate new business
  • Review sales lead sheets for opportunity
  • Attend networking events
  • Support SOP for sales and marketing
  • Participate in tradeshow committee
  • Attend tradeshows as assigned
  • Participate in marketing meetings
  • Research project opportunities utilizing Construction Journal or other sources
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years related experience
  • Engineering or construction sales experience is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
