Your day-to-day work will include:

The Senior Scheduler will provide scheduling support assistance to the Aeronautics Project Management Teams under the NASA CPSS contract at Glenn Research Center (GRC).

• Provide scheduling support assistance to the Aeronautics Project Management Teams.
• Principal for NASA Aeronautics project schedules, milestones, and deliverables for the Hybrid Thermally Efficient Core (HyTEC) project.
• Perform impact analysis on schedule status.
• Develop and maintain the official GRC (HyTEC) project schedules as required.
• Provide scheduling/status support for various meetings.
• Participate/contribute in the GRC Schedule Working Group.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior NASA experience preferred.
• Desired 15 years of applicable experience.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Extensive experience using commercial schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Desired understanding of EIA-748 standard EVM principles.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work Environment- Generally an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
• Physical Requirements- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. (5% of time).
• Equipment and Machines- Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
• Attendance- Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
• Other Essential Functions- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience.
