Provide daily nursing care to assigned residents in alignment with individual care plans and under supervision.
Report any changes in resident condition and all incidents/accidents promptly to the Nurse Supervisor or Charge Nurse.
Document care accurately using only facility-approved abbreviations and maintain confidentiality of all resident health information.
Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Ensure residents are comfortable and safe, including frequent checks, answering call lights promptly, and preventing bedsores or injuries.
Support admissions, transfers, and discharges by preparing rooms, greeting residents, and assisting with personal belongings.
Record vital signs and intake/output, and report any abnormal findings or changes in eating habits.
Follow infection control and safety protocols, including exposure to blood/body fluids and proper use of equipment.
Maintain a positive and calm environment by cooperating with coworkers and creating a supportive atmosphere for residents.
Must be a licensed CNA in accordance with state laws; CPR certification is preferred.
