Global Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Do you enjoy solving technical problems, carrying out customer trainings and finding the best way to support customers?
Do you like working independently, taking ownership, and making sure things get done the right way?

In this role, you'll handle second-level support for lighting control systems, look into customer claims, and find practical, smart solutions. You'll also be part of improving our tools and processes by sharing your insights and experience.

Responsibilities

• Technical second level support for wired and wireless lighting control systems and software tools
• Understanding customer requirements and working out solutions for the customer
• Creation and realisation of online and presence training courses for customers, partners and employees
• Contributing the customer perspective and customer requirements into product specifications
• Collaboration with PM and R&D in development projects
• Definition and execution of user acceptance testing
• Creating technical product documentations for external and internal use
• Evaluation of product changes

• Several years of work experience, preferably in the lighting or building automation industry
• Good knowledge of electronics, electrical engineering, and software
• University degree in the fields of electronics, IT, or software engineering is advantageous
• In-depth understanding of wired, wireless lighting control systems and software
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage
