Summary of Essential Duties: Payroll Department

  • Ensuring the accuracy of the preliminary and final time cards for non-exempt employees
  • Funds distribution
  • Payroll deductions
  • Responding promptly to inquiries for data and reports
  • Providing timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Maintaining payroll records
  • Assist in resolving payroll issues and provide outstanding service to all employees
  • Assist with the verification of employment process.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary payroll documentation
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax forms
  • Calculate pay correctly based on hire date, termination date, and leave of absence dates
  • Coordinate with HR to request benefit payments from employees on leave
  • Coordinate with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate data flow
  • Ensure all tax withholding accounts in relevant jurisdictions are established and maintained
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

 

 

Qualifications

  • Be at least 23 years of age
  • 2-5 years of payroll experience
  • Preferred experience with Paycom
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
  • Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.
  • Must understand, read, and write English.
