Job Description:

What You’ll Do  

This role supports Marketing, Cards, and Customer Service priorities across several key lines of business via planning, prioritization, and project execution. The role is responsible for managing the relationship with Discover Network and ensuring the Card business remains in compliance with the credit operating regulations and contractual obligations.  Responsible for driving business value and managing risk for the organization. Key responsibilities may include managing the initiative intake process from Discover Network to Discover Card, management and socialization of operating regulations change management, management of action items associated with gap analysis performed by stakeholders and Discover Network.  This role also works closely with Marketing, Cards, and Discover Network leadership to align on prioritization and continuous improvement opportunities across all channels.

Actively manages and escalates risk, bank and network impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You’ll Do It  

  • Manages the development and implementation of intake process associated with request to and from Discover Network including updates and strategies that support business goals.
  • Supports operational activities that ensure Discover Card remains in compliance to the Office of Network Relations governance framework.  
  • Drives continuous improvement through process discipline and innovation by partnering with cross-functional teams to implement capabilities to minimize key stakeholder and/or customer experience friction.
  • Mitigates business risk while designing process and strategy changes which improve key performance indicators within span of control.

Qualifications You’ll Need  

The Basics  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration and Management or related  
  • 4+ years of experience in Customer Service or Business related  
  • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Customer Service or Business related  

Bonus Points If You Have  

  • 6+ years of experience in Customer Service or Business related

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
