About This Role
The Preclinical Study Specialist I supports the execution of preclinical studies, including in vivo and procedural work, data collection, and study documentation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring studies are conducted in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations and internal procedures.

What You Will Do
• Support in-life study execution, including operating room procedures and data collection
• Accurately record raw data and observations in compliance with GLP requirements
• Assist with sample collection, processing, tracking, and shipment
• Maintain study documentation and regulatory files
• Identify and escalate deviations or issues impacting study integrity
• Collaborate with Study Directors, veterinary staff, and cross-functional teams
• Ensure adherence to study protocols, SOPs, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in research, laboratory, or preclinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Willingness to work in an in vivo research and operating room setting

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in preclinical research or CRO environment
• Exposure to GLP or regulated studies
• Experience with biological sample handling and documentation

Location
• This is an onsite position in Atlanta, GA with some hybrid potential
