Job Type: Full Time, Salary
Pay Range: $62,000-$72,000
What You’ll Do:
- Manage all incoming invoices with a focus on vendor billing related to equipment, parts, and services across all branch locations
- Verify the accuracy of purchase orders, invoice terms, pricing, GL coding, and location assignments
- Partner with branch teams and internal departments to investigate and resolve invoice and PO discrepancies
- Ensure timely, accurate entry and processing of payables in accordance with company policy and accounting best practices
- Maintain organized and complete vendor records and support documentation
- Collaborate with the accounting team during month-end close to ensure proper accruals and financial accuracy
- Act as a point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account updates
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of third-party bill pay systems (e.g., Ramp)
- Support internal process improvement initiatives within the AP function to drive efficiency and scalability
What It Takes:
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting and bill-pay systems (Sage Intacct and Ramp experience preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments and with external vendors
- Self-starter who works well independently and demonstrates a high level of accountability
- Discretion in handling confidential financial information
- Experience in a multi-location or service-based business is preferred
- Familiarity with purchase order workflows and inventory-related billing is preferred.
- Exposure to high-growth environments and process implementation or improvement projects is preferred.
When & Where You’ll Work:
- Office-Based – This is an in-office position.
- Peak Season Demand – Expect increased workload when the company opens new offices, during peak seasons and when unexpected weather-related emergencies occur.
