The Head of Product Management in the Information Technology (IT) is a senior leadership position reporting to Head of IT Sales, Service and Commence Applications, responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, and management of a company's product portfolio for Sales, Service and Commerce Applications used by Lucid to enable business teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and vision aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Define product roadmaps and prioritize feature development based on market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
  • Team Management: Build and lead a team of product managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their day-to-day activities. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, promoting professional growth and ensuring the team's alignment with company goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, such as executives, marketing teams, sales teams, and customers, to understand their needs, gather input, and incorporate feedback into product strategies and plans. Effectively communicate overall department product vision, features, and benefits to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Product Performance and Metrics: Define and build process to track key product performance metrics, such as revenue, market share, customer satisfaction, and product adoption. Ensure this process use data-driven insights to evaluate product success, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions regarding product enhancements or pivots.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry innovations, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities or threats. Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to ensure the company's products remain competitive and address customer needs effectively.
  • Collaboration and Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of product strategies. Foster a culture of collaboration and establish effective communication channels to facilitate cross-functional alignment.
  • Product Evangelism: Serve as a product evangelist, promoting the company's products internally and externally. Conduct product demonstrations, participate in industry events, and engage with customers and partners to build relationships and generate excitement around the products.
  • Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Collaborate with the finance department to develop product budgets and forecasts. Optimize resource allocation and prioritize investments based on strategic objectives, market opportunities, and return on investment.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and launches. Proactively address issues, resolve conflicts, and make tough decisions to ensure successful product outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field
  • 7+ years Product Management experience
  • 4+ years of experience leading a IT product management team 
  • 4+ years delivering sales or commerce technology solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Deep understanding of technology and eCommerce, business processes and functional dependencies
  • Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, want to take responsibility for your decisions and go the extra mile when needed
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and software development methodologies, and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the IT industry
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce business models, industry trends, and customer needs.
  • Familiarity with agile
