As a Sr. Manager, Project Management at Capital One Software, you will be challenged to excel and lead alongside smart and passionate people. You will capitalize on the opportunity to be at the forefront of driving a major transformation that directly impacts Capital One’s bottom line. You are comfortable with technology, able to translate technical concepts into business value, and skilled at navigating multiple domains with a growth mindset. You will take on important and exciting responsibilities from day one, working with key stakeholders across the company, managing complex business programs, and establishing effective frameworks for success. Finally, you are an exceptional communicator, capable of building positive relationships and influencing stakeholders to drive program delivery.
 

General Responsibilities:

• Showcase a proven track record in project management, quickly establishing frameworks for managing work in complex environments.

• Lead complex projects and programs, providing strategic direction and guidance to projects, peers, and team members.

• Build strong relationships leveraging influencing skillsets with key stakeholders to maintain commitment and achieve successful outcomes.

• Navigate through Go-To-Market, Product, Tech, and Operations domains with a growth mindset, continuously learning new technologies to solve problems through effective coordination and collaboration.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, using strong partnership and communication skills to manage, inform, and influence project outcomes.

• Utilize problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity to address challenges, offering practical solutions in collaboration with teams.

• Design, develop, and manage project plans in dynamic environments, adapting to changing requirements and priorities while executing effective risk mitigation to keep projects on track and within schedule.

• Partner with cross-functional teams and project customers, offering strategic insights and operational support while applying exceptional influencing abilities to drive project delivery.

• Focus on continuous process improvement, enhancing project management practices and methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

• At least 7 Years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters / MBA degree

• 8+ years of Project Management experience within a highly regulated industry

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
