Job Description

  • Support the Regional controller with cash management and liaison with the Treasury department.
  • Work with Risks and Controls/Treasury to ensure the bank signatories are up to date at any point in time (maintain the Bank database updated)
  • Support Regional controller with monthly/ quarterly reporting.
  • Review the reports generated by robotics to make sure there are no issues (trial balances/ quarterly variance reports/etc)
  • Prepare templates for quarterly reviews (fringe benefit files)
  • Support the monthly review of the CECL provision for CE by reconciling AR and Unbilled.
  • Coordinate and report to Corporate the inventory of equipment leases.
  • Support any system upgrades or any other compliance system roll-outs
  • Involved in the AR Billed / unbilled regional quarterly review
  • Involved in balance sheet review testing
  • Support alignment on balance sheet reconciliation across the region (align purpose and procedure/ timelines/etc).
  • Support payroll reconciliations and alignment across the region
  • Assist with fixed assets review and classification for the region
  • Support with the review and alignment of tax reconciliations for the region (VAT/CIT)
  • Make sure all documents (financial statements/ tax returns) are stored appropriately and timely
  • Assist with reconciling provisions at regional level
  • Involvement in ad-hoc projects where the local teams are stretched.

Qualifications

  • Degree educated or equivalent in accounting or similar. 
  • 5-years’ experience as an accountant, preferably in a multinational.
  • Excellent spoken English is essential;
  • Operate ethically and with integrity
  • Know how to prioritize, advocate focus and accountability
  • Use clear and frequent communications, drive execution and results.
  • Be collaborative.
  • Lead by example, demand excellence, maintain safety and integrity as top priorities.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks in complex environment
  • Experience working with Shared Service Centers.
