The pay range is $113,000.00 - $203,000.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. A role in Government Affairs means ensuring local and federal government entities have positive relationships with Target Enterprise. You will act as an advocate on behalf of Target and serve as an internal expert to both internal and external entities on a variety of key social and governmental issues an internal expert to both internal and external entities on a variety of key social and governmental issues that allow Target to conduct business in the most productive way.

This work is performed in a dynamic, sometimes volatile and highly visible political environment that involves significant reputation and brand considerations. With your experience, network, and policy knowledge, a successful Team Member will be open, intellectually curious, and committed to working in a bipartisan fashion.

Target’s Government Affairs team is highly collaborative, and each Team Member is expected to bring their input and recommendations to the team’s work. This includes Team Member civic engagement and awareness, and external and internal risk and reputation management, all consistent with Target’s values and purpose.

As a Senior Manager, Government Affairs Sat Target, you’ll be an integral part of our Government Affairs team, driving impactful advocacy and fostering strategic relationships with local elected officials and community stakeholders. You’ll work closely with the regional Government Affairs Director and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to influence public policy and enhance Target’s competitive edge in a dynamic and visible political environment.

• Advocacy and Representation:

o Build and maintain strategic relationships with local elected officials and public safety leaders, such as district attorneys and police chiefs.

o Advocate on behalf of Target with local lawmakers, including mayors, city council

members, local planning commissions, and other local government stakeholders.
