About the Team:

The Merchant Product organization is a team of experienced product leaders that builds on the DoorDash vision of connecting local delivery networks in cities all across the world. Within this organization, the Business Applications team executes major initiatives to drive internal efficiency, strategically enables sales and services to exceed objectives, and manages the technical builds to meet these goals. It’s a pivotal time to join the Business Application team as we are the backbone of helping DoorDash scale. About the role:

We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer on our Business Applications team who will help us build world-class applications to improve productivity of the business processes for sales, service and support operations. You will partner with other engineers, business analysts, and salesforce administrators - a collaborative mindset is essential!

What You’ll Do

• Use Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other tools and third-party applications
• Write coding solutions using key Salesforce core programing languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, RestAPIs)
• Use Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other tools and third-party applications
• You have a strong understanding of flows
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment techniques in Salesforce
• Possess an expert level of knowledge of a CRM Sales and Customer Service functionality and integrations to external systems
• Experience with Security Model in Salesforce
• Thorough understanding of SaaS data models, design considerations, and connected web services
• Data Migration in Salesforce
• Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign on
• Be flexible with changing priorities and comfortable working independently
• Manage heavy workloads and projects, many on a time-sensitive basis while still maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of development experience
• BA/BS/Masters in Economics, Business, Engineering, or other quantitative field
• Experience maintaining Salesforce.com in a complex environment
• Knowledgeable of Salesforce.com architecture and API

Nice To Have

• Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM301), Certified Developer (Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II) certifications
• Experience with CPQ or Service Cloud or Mulesoft
