Sourcing Lead – Vehicles, Retail, Behavioral Health & Non-Acute Distribution

 
The Vehicles, Retail, Behavioral Health & Non-Acute Distribution Sourcing Lead will focus on projects to improve Enterprise-wide integration and alignment of these categories. This role will work closely with Supply Chain and Procure-to-Pay on high impact projects. Additionally, the Sourcing Lead will work closely with the PSS Data Team to manage projects to improve operations across all the sourcing teams and document processes.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Manage the following categories, including overseeing day-to-day activities of analysts, spearheading standardizations and development of Enterprise standards, and prioritizing projects
  • Vehicles and Third-Party Transportation Services
  • Retail Optimization
  • Behavioral Health
  • Non-Acute Distribution
• Focus on increasing spend on Vizient contracts, where possible
• Create and manage a knowledge database, tools, and reports for the sourcing teams (e.g., onboarding / training materials, playbooks, standards lists).
• Develop standard processes for sourcing activities (e.g., implementations, Cardinal/Medline processes)
• Expand relationships with corporate and local leaders in covered categories
• Project management of joint sourcing and supply chain processes (e.g., product review process, par add process, warehouse dashboards)
• Act as sourcing liaison with the PSS Data Team and partner with the PSS Data Team to work on joint projects

Preferred Criteria

• Master’s Degree
• Minimum of 3 years’ healthcare experience, preferably with in a role requiring financial analysis
• Knowledge of the Lawson system and hospital operations
• Outstanding collaborative leadership and group management skills
• Strong understanding of the existing supply chain for assigned categories and an awareness of emerging potential suppliers and technologies

Required Criteria

• Bachelors’ degree
• 7 or more years of finance, strategy, sourcing or related experience

Salary Range:

$125,000-$140,000/Annual
