Compensation includes a base salary of $97,100.00 - $161,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Lead Project / Program Manager is responsible for prioritizing and completing project management deliverables for Registration and Title Solutions (RTS).  Accountable for delivering multiple large-scale projects on time, within quality expectations and within budget. This position coordinates project team members across a variety of RTS departments such as Sales, Product, Engineering, Facilities, Operations and Training, across other Cox business units and organizations, and third-party vendors. Project scale will vary from small operational readiness support for product releases to large scale projects such as supporting the release of new products or opening new production operations locations. The Lead Project / Program Manager is  also responsible to use a variety of data platforms, data sources, Excel and BI tools to develop and communicate meaningful business insights to various internal stakeholders including the Financial Planning and Executive Leadership teams.  Additionally, oversight of Operations compliance management is in scope for this role.

Candidates must reside within the Eastern time zone.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Responsible for running technical and operations support projects such as go to market, product releases and conversions, new process implementation, and facility improvements.
  • Perform data analysis to support prioritization decisions.
  • Create detailed project plans, define deliverables, and hold project team members accountable for assigned deliverables.
  • Define and maintain the scope of work. Identify the level of effort required to achieve project objectives.
  • Define key milestones. Monitor progress to ensure timely and seamless project delivery.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders. Direct project work through indirect reports in Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Training, Facilities and Operations.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations using written and verbal communication to define and communicate project scope, cost and resource estimates, progress and risks.
  • Conduct project risk assessments to identify risk such as cost, scope, and timeline. Develop mitigation plans to reduce or eliminate these risks.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports to the Sr. Leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain KPI reporting, ad hoc analysis, and dynamic self-service user dashboards with a focus on financial performance and product adoption. 
  • Collaborate closely with members of the Finance (Revenue Analytics) and Engineering (Enterprise Data Warehouse) teams to develop and maintain actionable data models.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand user needs and capture development requirements for dashboard creation.  Working iteratively with stakeholders to improve and expand existing reporting.
  • Champion reporting quality, accuracy, usability and reliability by documenting and applying best practices in development and implementation.
  • Create useful documentation, lead hands-on training, and support general understanding and usage by internal stakeholders of dashboard reporting, ad hoc analysis, and governed data models.
  • Ensure compliance to state DMV contracts by managing actions needed to close corrective action requests, manage incidents, partner with vendors on accuracy, and ensure SOPs are updated with state operational requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years experience in a related
