Shipping Team Lead

Role Responsibilities:

• Safety oriented
• Customer and goal oriented
• Coordinate day to day yard operation

Role Purpose:

• Operate Mi Jack, forklift or Yard Switcher as needed to unload production units from trailers and putaway on the ground locations
• Support Mi-Jack operator as needed for safe movement around yard, shackle units, and loading trucks
• Support with forklift operation as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Assign daily tasks to Shipping technicians in order to load trucks in a safe and efficient way
• Support shipping operation as needed
• Load units and accessories on trucks according to Pick List

Education / Certifications:

• Solid mechanical background required. 
• High School Diploma or GED required. 
• Ability to read procedural documents and safety materials.
• Prior experience operating crane/hoist equipment is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
