Production Planner - Kerakoll

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, Kerakoll Hellas, a leading manufacturer of materials and services in the applied chemical sector for building applications, the only company to provide a global GreenBuilding solution that aims at designing, building, and living in harmony with the environment and in healthy spaces, is in search of a Production Planner to join the company’s HQ in Schimatari.

The role will report to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

The job holder will create and implement an efficient production and supply plan to meet customers’ requirements at the minimum cost. Also, he/she will design, implement and monitor inventory management procedures with the aim of optimizing inventory levels and satisfying customers’ needs.

More specifically he/she will:

• Develop rolling monthly demand forecast
• Prepare weekly production schedules for each production line
• Plan and co-ordinate the supply of commercial products

• Coordinate and monitor the delivery of commercial products to designated sites
• Manage the inventory levels of two warehouses and ensure product flow runs smoothly
• Manage stock; overstock, close to expiration and obsolete using ERP system
• Propose actions to avoid stock waste and investment losses
• Determine raw & packaging materials requirements and arrange their timely supply

• Establish and monitor all materials and inventory parameters in the ERP system
• Work proactively to identify and resolve supply chain issues
• Ensure timely delivery of customer orders at optimum cost in cooperation with Commercial department
• Create reports on production, inventory, statistics and KPIs
• Contribute to the annual operations budget process

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics
• At least 3 years of experience as a Production Planner

• Experience in Manufacturing and Construction will be preferred
• Fluent both in English and Greek
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of SAP would be considered an asset
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
