About the role

General Description:
This individual is responsible for performing all aspects of general facility operations including field operations and turbine and reciprocating compression operations under the direct supervision of the client (Field Production Supervisor). Must be capable of working in a high-paced environment.
This position will be responsible for driving CCI’s Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. CCI Industrial Services leads the industry in Safety, Innovation, and Excellence. CCI’s mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies. 1x1 rotation [will vary from days to nights], LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY.


Essential Duties & Job Functions:

- Issues and controls all work permits, EIPs and EILs for his or her assigned area or areas.
- Follows all SOPs for his or her area or areas.
- Ensures all work conducted in his or her area or areas is/are properly permitted.
- Informs supervisor of any incidents involving injury, spills, equipment malfunction and/or damage.
- Ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintains wells, compressors; monitors pressures, levels.
- Performs emergency response duties; responds to field alarms.
- Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Client Standards and other compliance-oriented directives. Has STOP work authority. Ensures all assigned personnel follow standards and directives.
- Performs Stepback audits and observations.

- Submits reports, documents, maintenance history and other required documentation surrounding maintenance and repair work to other levels within the company and to the customer as required.
- May assist in vac truck operations such as fluids handling/hauling.
- May be required to have CDL and be in DOT program

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and other software.

Work Environment: 

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and severe outside weather conditions. The employee is exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a mechanical shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear is required in most working situations.

 

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED is required.
- CITS or OSHA-10 or Hazwoper training is required.
- Valid drivers license is required.
- Experience towing/operating portable equipment such as light plants, indirect heaters, manlifts, etc

• Reside in Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula is REQUIRED.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-year experience in oil and gas production operations with knowledge of production systems and equipment is preferred
• Graduate of the Kenai Peninsula College Process Technology Course and oil and gas working experience is preferred.
