Job Description

Job Summary

The Talent Development Program Manager will work with leaders, subject matter experts, HRBPs, the TD leadership and team, Talent Management, I&D leader, and other partners to design, develop, implement and evaluate, as well as facilitate, learning and development as part of the Talent Development team/People Strategy Team. These programs will be developed and delivered in a blended format. This position will be responsible for engaging in the full instructional design and development cycle, training our internal teams, and utilizing a blended learning approach to complement our training offerings. This role partners heavily with the global talent development team, HRBPs and business stakeholders to drive training efforts and meet team development needs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders in area of responsibility to understand training and development needs and identify needs/solutions for stakeholders
  • Drive the Talent Development strategy, as set by the Global Head of Talent Development, in partnership with AGS product line executive leadership and HRBPs
  • Engage in ongoing conversations around training and development for product line
  • Design, develop and deliver interactive and engaging materials for both classroom and alternative/blended learning delivery, i.e.: web-based, microlearning, informal learning, and through Degreed
  • Deliver courses using adult learning principles and interactive on-line learning models as appropriate
  • Ensure the instructional integrity of course development projects through systematic design and clear writing of scripts, narratives, and storyboards
  • Ensure all training materials are utilizing AGS training methodology, formats, and approach
  • Utilize Degreed platform as a method for content delivery
  • Uphold instructional design and development standards for all existing and future training materials that support continued quality, speed of delivery, and learning reinforcement
  • Provide methods for front-end learning needs analysis and assist in the evaluation of instructional effectiveness for course materials that are produced
  • Communicate frequently and effectively with various project collaborators, HRBP and leaders to ensure that goals and objectives are being met
  • Drive creative thinking and futuristic vision for development plans and opportunities
  • Has a supervisory responsibility such as providing guidance and direction to direct reports

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Experience in designing and delivering training preferred
  • AGS operations or shared services experience a strong preference
  • Ability to partner with operations leaders and drive TD strategy in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong interest in adult-based learning strategies and innovations
  • Willingness to be part of many components of a project team
  • Interest in being part of a global department and global projects
  • Interest in both design and teaching aspects of training
  • Experience with multiple senior level stakeholders, engaging in development conversations, understanding business needs, and project planning
  • Experience mentoring and/or leading employee(s)
  • Project ownership/management experience preferred
  • Training design skills preferred
  • Organization skills are critical
  • Ability to create simulations, webinars and in person trainings, as well as e-learning
  • Strong ability to command a learning
