<p>The position</p>
<p>As a Senior Communication & Public Affairs Manager, you will develop and execute a Novo Nordisk Public Affairs & Communication strategy with the aim of influencing governmental trends and policies that might impact diabetes and rare diseases. You will establish relevant strategic engagement platforms to facilitate stakeholder dialogue and drive company priorities in multi-stakeholder partnerships, as well as create and integrate PR campaigns aligned with corporate and brand strategic plans. </p>

<p>Your main accountabilities will be:</p>
<ul>
<li>PA strategies and activities are planned and executed with utmost care. Implementing high-quality PA event management ("Cities Changing Diabetes", WOD, WDD, etc.), ensure corporate reputation and establish meaningful strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, develop corporate communications strategy, excel in media relations and setting corporate agenda.</li>
<li>External and internal communication of Novo Nordisk issues related to diabetes and rare diseases; sustainable business (zero environmental impact, Triple Bottom Line).</li>
<li>Organizing, driving, and contributing effectively to external meetings, conferences, and other meetings (local, national, or regional level).</li>
<li>Supporting and contributing to add-hock tasks across all regional affiliate departments (e.g., providing support to product managers with launches). Creating clear and convincing communication documents; providing senior management with written or oral briefings.</li>
<li>Monitoring and documenting external changes and trends in order to identify risks and/or opportunities and to propose strategic response actions internal buy-in of external engagement activities for implementation.</li>

<p>Qualifications</p>
<p>To be successful in this role, you need to understand the healthcare environment, have a strong understanding of the Novo Nordisk way of management, and have strong product portfolio and disease knowledge. You need to have minimum 5 years of experience in access, public affairs, and/or external communication areas for pharmaceutical companies.</p>

<p>About the department</p>
<p>The External Affairs department is contained of 3 layers such as Market Access, Public Affairs and Communication department, which is responsible for developing and driving the Negotiation, Governmental &Public affairs strategy for Greece & Cyprus. The team consists of 5 employees; three of them work in the Market Access Field, one in the Public Affairs and SOME manager and one media consultant, and we all network with all key stakeholders and maintain the visibility/awareness of Novo Nordisk portfolio (existing & future) with key decision makers within the healthcare system.</p>
