Department Overview
PG&E's Solutions Marketing department is responsible for the planning, development and execution of innovative marketing strategies that drive positive customer experiences and participation with PG&E products and program offerings. This includes safety and emergency preparedness, residential and business rate education, energy efficiency, income qualifying programs, clean energy, transportation electrification, decarbonization and a variety of other initiatives designed to help customers manage and achieve their sustainability and climate goals. The Customer Communications department is responsible for direct-to-customer communications regarding bills and payment, safety, compliance mandates and field work and operations.
Position Summary
The role will work alongside the Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to lead the Solutions Marketing organization in innovative ways to conduct day to day activities. This position will influence workflows and be empowered to develop and lead in the deployment of new solutions. In this position, the individual will learn and leverage the LEAN Operating System to deliver exceptional outcomes.
The position will have day to day interaction with the Senior Director and Director of Solutions Marketing while participating in staff meetings and keeping accountable stakeholders responsible for action items identified in those discussions.
This role will also be responsible for supporting the broader Marketing & Communications team during emergency response efforts, serving in an Administrative role during emergency activations.
This role is hybrid working from your remote office and in-person in the Oakland General Office as business needs require.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $95,000
Bay Area Maximum: $143,000
Job Responsibilities
- Be the go-to person by monitoring, prioritizing, and following up on action and review items for the leadership team while supporting training and timekeeping actions, pay planning, performance improvement plans, and performance management.
- Be a digital guru coordinating the maintenance of department SharePoint sites and tools, Teams environments and network drives while ensuring compliance with records standards and retention requirements.
- Showcase your creativity by preparing documents, reports, presentations, and meeting materials for review and approval.
- Lead with Lean: Guide usage of the 5 Lean plays and support the team in development and maintenance of the Lean tools.
