The Manager, LCoE Systems Training is responsible for providing design, development, delivery, evaluation, logistical support and content management support for system application training.  The Manager, Global Development Training Systems will work closely with the Dir LCoE Systems Training to continually improve the scale, depth, and quality of system application training that aligns with strategic objectives within Global Development.

JOB DUTIES:

Strategic Alignment

  • Understand the business and associated roles within Global Development.
  • Understand the business needs and technical challenges experienced by Global Development associates
  • Collaborate with Dir LCoE Systems Training to determine strategy for designing and delivering systems training at scale.

Relationship Management

  • Use knowledge of business and customer base in order to identify SMEs and potential departmental trainers that could be leveraged for system application training delivery.
  • Consult with Training Business Partners, Global Dev Solutions and System Owners/SMEs to design and deliver learning solutions, in a wide range of multimedia formats.
  • Interact with Training Quality team to ensure accurate assignment and compliance oversight.

Support

  • Maintain and continue to develop a robust and accurate end-to-end knowledge of business processes and applicable procedures for Global Development
  • Participate in system and business process training related activities, such as performing UAT on training materials and auditing face to face/virtual instructor led system/business process training sessions.
  • Provide input regarding the method for system training curriculum creation and oversight, ensure management input at designated timepoints
  • Work with functional SMEs and Dir LCoE Systems Training to establish role based curriculum or training matrices to match system requirements
  • Support Dir LCoE Systems Training in creating/executing/maintaining detailed training plan for all supported systems, create all deliverables and work closely with support teams (System Owners, SMEs, Facilitator/ Trainer, Super Users).
  • As needed, conduct system training sessions as well as plan and facilitate large and small scale sessions related to the implementation of systems supported by LCoE.
  • Dir LCoE Systems Training may require LCoE Systems Training Manager to develop subject-matter expertise in the target application to help facilitate the design and development of learning solutions, in cases where functional SMEs require additional support.

Effectiveness tracking

  • Evaluate continuous feedback from surveys, help desk queries, Super User/Trainer qualitative feedback regarding existing systems and make recommendations for improvement to training.
  • Track trends and monitor training compliance; prepare routine progress reports on job specific training programs for management.
  • Implement plan for improving compliance across supported stakeholder groups.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ideally 2+ years Clinical, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device experience with understanding of GxP guidelines
  • At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering system application training
  • Ideally 3+ years instructional design experience.
