POSITION SUMMARY:
The Disassembly Technician will contribute to DEUTZ’s daily operations by keeping our engines clean and performing better than ever! The Disassembly Technician is responsible for the disassembly and cleaning of engines. Disassembly Technician will liaise with managers and department employees. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable with engine parts and hand power tools with some mechanical experience and knowledge.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Disassembly Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

Disassembly of Diesel engines

Cleaning of engine components

Maintains a clean and organized work/storage area.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Individual Contributor
Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0-10% depending on business needs.

Ability to operate powered pass-through wash system

Knowledge of wash and blast cabinets a plus
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY:
Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10's and 100's. Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
REASONING ABILITY:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Manufacturing assembly and warehouse environment. Subject to noise, dust, diesel fuel, oil, and extreme hot/cold temperatures. No A/C.
