Job Description
As a Security Officer - Aero/Defense Unarmed Driver Patrol in Queens, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned area. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and supporting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
- Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Communicate with staff and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed.
- Complete required reports and documentation regarding incidents, patrols, and observations.
- Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related objectives at the location.

Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
