Senior Technical Demand Planner & Forecasting Analyst

The Senior Demand Planning/Forecasting Analyst is a hands-on role responsible for operating and improving the demand planning and forecasting for the F&B businesses from top line sales down to individual SKUs. This individual plays a crucial role in the business ensuring the right products are available at the right time, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory. Pulling, formatting, analyzing, and presenting easily consumed data from multiple data sources will all be key aspects of the position. In-depth knowledge of data sources, data querying, trends analysis, Excel and building reports from scratch using a data warehouse and reporting tools will all be daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Data Ownership and Stewardship of the information used to make forecasting decisions.
• Key member of the Demand Planning Team providing recommendations and new ways to look at the data to make better decisions.
• Create forecasting tools and spreadsheets that can be regularly updated based on additional data and triggers.
• Continuous improvement of processes, tools, automation and accuracy of the models.
• Recommend technical changes to the data warehouse to provide the needed data.
• Statistical analysis and reporting related to related F&B operations.
• Preparation of executive summaries for management team in the form of dashboard, data graphing, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Custom report writing in Excel and other reporting tools.
• Afterhours work and special projects are expected as part of this position.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have 3+ years of hands-on Demand Planning/Forecasting in the Restaurant and/or F&B space.
• Must be an expert within Excel and other Data Warehouse BI/Reporting Tools.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouse views, cubes, etc.
• Knowledge of AI tooling a plus.
• Must be capable of working in fast-paced, self-directed, and changing environment and must have the ability to meet strict deadlines.
