Business Intelligence Manager I -- Wholesale Banking (HYBRID/Richmond, VA)

• Collaborate with executives, senior leadership and professional staff for your assigned business areas for strategy development, assessment and refinement.
• Function as the senior lead for BLI’s engagement model for your assigned AUB business areas for all business intelligence and solutions development.
• Lead BLI staff and coordinate with EIM technical staff in developing solutions, as appropriate to the technical scope of the business need.
• Direct BLI teammates in the build-out of the foundational performance-measurement framework (data definitions, business rules, KPIs, benchmarks, target setting, reporting and other accountability tools) for your assigned AUB business areas.
• Provide consultation, advice, recommendations and execution support for your assigned AUB business areas.
• Function as the data steward on all data, management-information and business intelligence related to your assigned AUB business areas.
• Collaborate with EIM, Data Governance, Finance, Risk and LOBs on best data management and usage practices.
• Apply and share expert knowledge of industry developments, regulations, standards, competitive intelligence related to your area of expertise.

Position Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, Marketing or other quantitative disciplines; Advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years’ senior leader-facing experience across strategy, consultancy, data analytics, data visualization, financial analysis.
• 10+ years of professional-level business experience in data and information-related fields.

Knowledge & Skills

• Senior-level communication, leadership and collaboration skills, building networks to leverage collective strengths.
• Advanced data-management, data-visualization, business analysis and problem-solving skills, including the ability to present analytical concepts, results and conclusions in an easily understandable and logical manner to senior managers.
• Proven experience in leading and developing business intelligence teams to higher levels of excellence.
• Experienced in gathering data and business requirements and translating into integrated BI Solutions.
• Expertise with Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Power Point, geo-spatial tools. Working knowledge of SQL.
