Sign Project Administrator - Installations

Function as the single point of contact to ensure timely completion of sign installation projects for new and relocated stores.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for multiple projects, developing in different stages as they progress through all processes. Using all required skills to administer assigned projects to ensure every phase is completed accurately and in a timely manner so that major deadlines are met for all exterior signage installations and upgrades as needed for all existing facilities including the following steps:

Update data and documentation in project management system during the entire process so all facts, decisions, and the reasons for them are recorded

Use reading and comprehensive skills to research and review city/county ordinances and confirm exact regulations per location

Using independent thinking and judgment skills to recommend exterior signage strategy and develop a proposal for site signage based on code and preliminary site information.

Review final issued site and sign plans for accurate depiction of all planned signage. This includes requesting and following up on revisions with architects and the Design department to ensure all plans and layouts reflect requested proposed signage

Issue work orders to sign vendors to provide pricing on set scope of work

Obtain and approve bids for custom sign manufacturing and all signage installation. This includes researching possible vendors, comparing competitive pricing, and using judgement to ensure quality bids are recommend for approval.

Coordinate with local sign vendors to obtain permits

Order all signs needed based on permit approval and ensure materials provided by sign installers are ordered and ready for installation

Coordinate with appropriate Real Estate group and General Contractor the best time for signage installation and final power hook up as needed

Schedule installation with sign installer and confirm all signage is installed and lit properly, insuring completion photos are received and sign assets updated

Responsible for processing all invoices for payment, entering them into the budget record, and using documentation skills to depict reasons for differences
