Job Description:
Airbus is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Internship Program. These positions are designed to provide students the opportunity to enhance their theoretical foundation through practical experience focused in several areas of the aviation manufacturing industry.
For the Industrial Engineering department at the Airbus Mobile Manufacturing Site, there are positions available in the following categories:
Industrial Engineering - Responsible for understanding disruptions on the production line and implementing technical solutions to ensure the disruption does not occur again. Also responsible for introducing new modifications on aircraft to the production line.
Process Performance Engineering - Responsible for preparing the in-station plan for when each job task will be completed within the Takt time
Over the course of our 10-12-week internship program, participants will have the opportunity to:
Work directly with a mentor in their field of study while finding solutions to real world problems

Experience our products up close by touring our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities
Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities
Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future industry leader
Requirements:

Maintains a solution-oriented approach in dynamic or high-pressure environments, adjusting strategies as needed.

Preferred Education:
Working towards Bachelor’s degree in one the following majors at least at Sophomore standing
Industrial, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Preferred Experience:
School projects in related fields

Citizenship: US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license), Authorized to work in the US, Able to work in US without current or future need for visa sponsorship)
Technical Systems Proficiency:
Required:
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs)
Physical Requirements:
Onsite or remote: 100% Onsite
Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.
Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms.
