What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and deploy embedded diagnostic software for custom silicon qualification prior to production releases

• Develop automation infrastructure for pre & post silicon test regression and report automation

• Perform hardware bring-up on emulation, prototyping and post-silicon platforms

• Deliver high-quality silicon to all internal customers through system level validation, regression, failure analysis, and root cause on pre-production SOC and Compute silicons

• Work directly with cross-functional teams during product life-cycles to ensure reliable and robust autonomous system operation with Cruise Silicon

• Demonstrate leadership and ability to navigate through dynamically changing schedules, priorities and logistical/technical constraints

What you must have:

• BS or MS degree in EE/CE or a related discipline or equivalent combination education

• 10 + years of experience in SOC validation and embedded systems development

• Strong EE fundamentals, knowledgeable in digital design, signal integrity, statistics, timing analysis, power analysis, fault analysis, sampling, computer architecture

• Validated hands-on lab experience with silicon bring-up, lab debug and lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers)

• Deep understanding of firmware/driver structures and their interaction with HW

• Helpful to have prior experience with SOC, DSP, MIPI-CSI & ISP design or development

• Proficient in C and related CPU, GPU, SOC tool chains

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with PCIe, networking drivers, and ARM Trusted Firmware

The salary range for this position is $170,000 - 250,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
