Job Description

We have an exciting, essential role for a Pilot Plant Manager to manage PSS teams supporting cell culture and purification on a client site in the Framingham, MA area.  This Manager will need to wear many hats and is expected to assist staff in cell culture and purification runs as needed to meet the client timelines.  Your team will support the development, scale-up, testing and tech transfer of numerous processes and modalities on our client site.

Qualifications

• At least 5-8 years of experience working in upstream and downstream small scale/pilot labs
• Experience maintaining and managing lab-based equipment (including coordinating with vendor-supported maintenance per schedule)
• Experience with set-up and maintenance of small scale and pilot scale bioreactors and pilot scale purification equipment
• Experience leading teams of at least 10
• Experience developing and managing schedules
• Experience or knowledge of ELN
• Experience building bioreactors
• Execution of Cell Culture studies in the small scale and pilot labs
• Execution of Purification studies in the small scale and pilot labs
• Tech transfer experience
• Effective communication skills
• Client service oriented
• Experience establishing and monitoring KPIs and metrics
• Proficiency with online acquisition software and Excel

Additional Information
