RN, Emergency Department, Per Diem, Rotating Shifts

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a union-represented role by the CNA. Provides nursing care, including triage, treatment and discharge care for the Emergency Department patients, from newborns to geriatrics.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent: Required
• Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
• One year minimum acute care experience: Required
• Ability to assess and anticipate the needs of the Emergency department patient newborns to geriatrics: Required
• Ability to learn and use emergency equipment: Required

Licenses and Certifications:

• California RN License: Required
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association: Required
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association: Required
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association: Required
• Must complete TNCC Certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into position: Required
