The ERCOT Internship Program allows college students the opportunity to develop their skills in a technical and high-paced, professional work environment. Interns receive assignments and projects that aim to solve real challenges facing the electric industry. The internship program also allows students to experience working alongside ERCOT employees and being part of a team. Throughout the internship, ERCOT leaders are able to evaluate each individual interns capabilities and compatibility with ERCOT's mission, vision and values.
We are seeking sutdents who are interested in pursuing the following:
Emergency Management
Business Continuity
Public Administration
Desired Educational Level:
Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Public Administration, or related field).
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Strong interest in emergency management, crisis response, or disaster preparedness.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to emergency management initiatives.
Eligible candidates should be enrolled in an academic bachelors or post graduate degree program maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Interns will be required to be on-site a few times throughout the program, with the majority of the internship being remote.
This is a full-time internship for the Summer of 2024. The program will run from the 3rd of June through the 9th of August.
Expected Salary Range:
