Job Description:

Parts Sales:

The Parts Sales Supervisor promotes parts sales and guarantees proper delivery of the goods to the satisfaction of customers.  This position also establishes sales growth, profitability targets, and designs and executes plans to achieve those targets; coordinates activities at all levels in the Customer Service office and factory to ensure customers receive proper information and material in a timely manner, mainly on manufactured parts and retrofits; and assumes responsibility and supervises Part Coordinators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision:

• Supervise the activities of Parts Coordinators Leadership.
• Assist and Support Sales Reps
• Creates customer orders and work orders for Fabrication department if required parts are not in stock. Suggests upgrades for obsolete parts/functions.
• Reviews bill of materials to ensure proper parts and amounts have been called out.
• Develop and review new sales collateral and materials
• Overseeing Sales Promotions and Campaigns    
• Accepts responsibility and availability for after-hours emergency calls; willing to arrive at office if needed to ship part.
• Works with sales and engineering to maintain up-to-date spare parts lists.
• Organizes all paperwork related to shipments to ensure customers are supported in a timely manner.
• Works with customers to maintain customer trust

Customer Care:

• Manages Customer Complaints information: log, reporting, progress made on correcting complaints.
• Issues a Warranty Report monthly.
• Review Cost and Margins on a Regular Basis.
• Becomes familiar with all company safety standards.

• Performs all commitments/tasks in a timely and professional manner.
• Performs other duties/responsibilities as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Parts Sales Supervisor supervises the Parts department staff.

Education

• BA/BS degree in business or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience and Skills

• Minimum five years of experience in a customer service-oriented industry, preferable in a manufacturing environment. Prefer prior experience managing a service department and/or supervisory experience. 

• Possesses good communication skills, a positive “get-it-done” attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team in a demanding production environment.

Physical Requirements

• Travel as needed.
• Sit at a desk or computer for extended periods of time.
• Move about the office and factory with occasional lifting, bending and reaching.
• Dial, hear and respond to telephone calls and inquiries.
• Communicate effectively (visually and verbally) with internal and external contacts.
• Meet requirements of daily attendance on job for a full, continuous work schedule.

Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 (DOE)
