Job Description
Role Summary:
The Lead Production Accountant for Late Night with Seth Meyers is responsible for overseeing every facet of accounting on this show.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage accounting staff; delegate tasks, balance workloads, maintain good morale and foster sense of teamwork
- Interface with studio closing schedule, adhere to those reporting deadlines
- Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly closes and cash flows, closing out each season
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, petty cash, and purchase cards, interpretation of contracts
- Enforce accounting policies listed in accounting manual
- Budgeting and estimating
- Liaison between accounting and producers and other departments
- Meet with team and assign tasks on a daily/weekly basis
- Keep controller/corporate informed of day-to-day operations on show
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 2 – 5 years’ experience as Key Accountant on a production
- 3+ years’ experience in Tape or Talk Show genre
- 3+ years Vista accounting system
- Minimum 1-year experience working with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Desired Characteristics:
- Must have knowledge of NABET, IATSE, and AFTRA contracts
- Familiarity with payroll systems, including E.P. and Timekeeper a plus
- Proficient in Movie Magic Budgeting
- Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to all reporting deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with various internal and external personnel at show
- Strong communications skills to maintain working relationships with all departments on show
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Strong conflict resolution skills

- Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
