Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and detail‑driven Manager of HR Compliance & Quality Control to ensure our human resources practices meet all legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. This role plays a critical part in protecting the organization, strengthening HR processes, and supporting a consistent, high‑quality employee experience across the enterprise.

Working closely with HR leaders, Talent Management, and HR Technology, this position blends regulatory expertise, audit leadership, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and a collaborative approach to driving compliance at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the execution of the HR compliance and quality control strategy across the organization

  • Review and enhance HR standard operating procedures and policies to ensure alignment with federal, state, and regulatory requirements

  • Partner with HR Technology to optimize Workday functionality, support a paperless environment, and strengthen recordkeeping practices

  • Analyze Workday Help cases to identify trends, root causes, and preventive solutions

  • Develop and maintain audit reports and dashboards to monitor compliance and process effectiveness

  • Serve as the HR lead for regulatory audits and surveys, including preparation, participation, and post‑audit recommendations

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing survey readiness

  • Monitor changes in state and federal legislation related to licensure, certification, and training requirements; deliver targeted education to HR teams

  • Ensure job descriptions meet legal and regulatory standards

  • Review and assess exception requests related to background checks and employment clearances

  • Lead RFPs and vendor initiatives related to HR compliance systems and services

  • Partner across HR and business leadership to promote consistent, compliant practices

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 4+ years of equivalent experience in HR compliance, audits, or regulatory oversight
  • Advanced knowledge of HR law, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission)
  • Demonstrated success leading audits and regulatory surveys in complex organizations
  • Experience supporting HR systems, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
