As a Senior Financial Analyst on the FP&A team, you will report directly to the FP&A Manager and will play a critical role in supporting expense forecasting, headcount management, and performance analysis across the organization. This role blends operating expense ownership with opportunities to support headcount and compensation analytics. You'll collaborate closely with functional leaders and senior finance partners to build models, monitor financial performance, and support central initiatives that drive profitable growth.

 

We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-starter, with a high level of professionalism that will enable our team to prioritize, track and analyze complex financial information - primarily related to the expenses of the organization. Responsibilities:

 

  • Financial Oversight: Help to handle the company's expense budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as headcount analytics. Conduct detailed variance analyses to understand the drivers of favorable and unfavorable variances, summarize findings for executive review and help translate insights into meaningful recommendations. 
     
  • Strategic Analysis: Supporting the creation of actionable reporting, data visualization, and other tools to help teams better understand key financial performance indicators. Partner with Manager of FP&A to apply analytics to predict expenses and headcount needs.   
     
  • Executive & Stakeholder Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly financial decks, business reviews, and board updates.  
     
  • Operational Improvement: Contribute to the automation of manual reporting processes. Improve internal tracking tools and support implementation of standard processes in budget management and financial operations. This includes partnering with outside consultants to test and implement new AI functionalities as they continue to rapidly evolve.  
     
  • Cross-Functional Business Partnering: Collaborate with teams across finance, accounting, HR, and business units to align forecasts, provide budget support, and increase financial accountability. Provide financial insights and guidance to help departments run their budgets effectively while encouraging creative problem-solving to address financial challenges.
