We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Deficiency Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing inspection reports, identifying code violations or system deficiencies, and quickly preparing proposals for our customers.
Job Duties:
- Independently create repair quotes for fire alarm and other low voltage deficiencies that are generated from testing and inspection reports.
- Process approved quotes into service jobs and create work orders for service department.
- Follow up with customers to provide any feedback necessary regarding quotes.
- Communicate with the Inspection Departments to retrieve additional details that may be needed to provide appropriate and competitive quote.
- Provide quality control when reviewing inspection reports before providing quotes.
- Interface with inspectors, service technicians, and dispatchers to gain clarity on scope of work, provide additional details, or to ensure timely completion of work to meet customer expectations.
- Source pricing for all materials necessary for repair jobs through database and vendor lists.
- Itemize list of all materials to be used on repair jobs.
- Provide detailed information of what the repair quote includes and excludes.
- Provide a high level of customer service to ensure the customer's fire alarm system(s) are in compliance.
- Interface with local Fire Departments and/or other AHJs as necessary to communicate urgent deficiencies.
- Estimate and provide pricing on small projects, improvements, or upgrades
- Obtain PO from customers when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm systems, installation and repair techniques and inspections.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and NEC.
- NICET certified in Fire Alarm systems a plus.
Compensation:
$45,000- $60,000 a yr. depending on experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs, or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
