Compensation:

Hourly range $36.30 - $54.44

Bonus:

Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.

Job Overview:
As the Manager of Surgery, you are responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and operations within a surgical unit. This leadership role ensures high-quality patient care, efficient workflow, and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards. The Nursing Manager coordinates staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation while supporting the professional development of the nursing team. They also collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers to promote a safe and effective surgical environment. Key responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, managing budgets, implementing best practices in patient care, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and improving department performance through continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
- Active Registered Nursing license in the state of Illinois

-Three years previous management experience preferred

-At least five years previous experience in a clinical setting
