About the role

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Technical Development / Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Program Manager in Chantilly, VA to support our Intelligence Community and Department of Defense (DoD) customers as part of a highly talented, motivated and high-performing team. Your role on the program, as the Development/O&M Program Manager, you will be tasked with executing all program management responsibilities on the program, interface routinely with executive management.  Superior communication, leadership skills and knowledge of program management functions and responsibilities are required along with the ability to successfully interface with corporate functional organizations in program execution.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Manage end to end software development and deployment activities for a complex space domain awareness program
  • Support all facets of project management including estimating and planning tasks, creating and managing schedules, and implementing sound financial management across the program
  • Hire and manage personnel
  • Orchestrate and manage subcontractor support to the program
  • Interface with corporate functional support to enable program success (e.g. Contracts, Finance, HR, Recruiting, Facilities, Security, etc.)
  • You will be required to interface with the customer/government customers, Peraton senior leadership and other organizations to keep program deliverables on track, on schedule, and manage risk and opportunities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Top-Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customers request. Contract requires TS/SCI with poly. The candidate must maintain the clearance
  • You have 10 (+) years of experience in engineering, design and analysis of IT or related systems experience in all phases of design, development, analysis and documentation, and development of standards and guidelines for tasks being performed
  • Experience successfully leading large teams of engineering staff
  • You have experience with DoD/IC system/software development and deployment in a secure environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in an engineering field or management
  • Current TS/SCI with poly
  • You are familiar with Agile development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles
  • Previous Space Operations experience
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to organize and manage competing stakeholder expectations

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
