If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.</span></b></p> <p> </p> <p><span><b><span>R2R Senior Specialist in Asset Management</span></b> </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><b>Purpose:</b></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span>As an integral member of our team</span><span>, </span><span>you'll ensure the seamless execution of Asset Management accounting operations</span><span>, </span><span>aligning with both international and local financial standards</span><span>. </span><span>You</span><span>'</span><span>ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, ensuring compliance with Bayer’s standards while also being open to the flow of ideas and continuous improvement.</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><b>Key tasks and responsibilities:</b></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span><span>Execute Asset Management accounting transactions for Bayer Legal Entities located in Europe with precision, ensuring adherence to process documentation and standards</span><span>, </span><span>particularly related to</span><span>:</span></span></span> <ul> <li><span><span><span>the non-current assets investment process;</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>creation and maintenance of asset master data</span><span>;</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>the transfer, disposal and sale of assets</span><span>;</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>closing and reporting activities</span><span>;</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>physical inventory count;</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>handling of audit requests;</span></span></span></span></li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span><span>Conduct monthly, quarterly, yearly closing and reporting activities related to Asset Management as well as basic process related trainings;</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Serve as the go-to person and Company Responsible for operational topics within your legal entity, fostering a collaborative environment and driving mission-focused outcomes;</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Uphold accounting standards and procedures</span><span>, </span><span>while also seeking ways to evolve and enhance processes within our DSO framework;</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Collaborate across teams to address and resolve issues, leveraging peer accountability and a creative mindset to deliver value</span><span>;</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Contribute to process improvements, actively participating in a culture of continuous learning and adaptation</span><span>;</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Provide support for your peers</span><span>, </span><span>embracing the flexibility and talent flow that DSO embodies</span><span>;</span></span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><span><b>Who you are:</b></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span>A degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a related field;</span></span></li> <li><span><span>A foundation in accounting principles and a desire to grow and take on new challenges within a dynamic system;</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Good/ Advanced knowledge of General Accounting and  Asset Management Accounting according to IFRS;</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision, dedication and accuracy;</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Experience in conducting and preparing trainings;</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Very good experience with SAP or other ERP systems;</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Proficiency in MS Office, particularly excel, power point;</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Knowledge of Power BI, Power automate is a plus;</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Very good English language skills (minimum B2 level);</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to build sustainable stakeholder networks;</span></span></li> <li><span><span>An organized, motivated and dedicated team player who is eager to learn, share knowledge, ready to embrace change and make fast decisions.</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b><span><span><span>We offer</span></span></span></b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span><span>Hybrid/remote work contract;</span></span></span></li> <li><span><
