Position Overview
Working with the Clinical Change Lead, the Clinical Change Coordinator leads/assists with implementation of health services improvement projects engaging with all relevant stakeholders in the process. The incumbent enables health-care system alignment by leading the coordinated planning and integration of patient-centered health services to ensure consistent high-quality patient care as defined by Manitoba’s Clinical and Preventive Services Plan.
The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.
Experience
- 2 years of progressive experience involving health services leadership is an asset.
- 7 years of experience providing health services to urban, rural and/or remote populations across one or more areas of clinical health care.
- Experience leading and coordinating systemic improvements with health services.
- Experience in change management and project management.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Post secondary degree in a field such as Health Sciences or Health Administration from an accredited education institute.
- A postgraduate degree is an asset.
- Certificate in quality management and/or patient safety from an accredited institution or equivalent is an asset.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
- Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate.
