Job Description:

Qualification:

 B. E. / B. Tech from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience/ Exposure:
 7+ years of working experience in Gas fire Boiler, water Chiller, Glycol chiller, Air Compressor, Cooling tower, HVAC system and Purified water system, field at chemical / Pharmaceutical industries.

Key Technical Skills:

• Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and safety protocols.
• Experience in attending to utility breakdowns, performing maintenance, and conducting root cause analysis.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and proper use of work permits during all maintenance activities.

 

Role & Responsibilities: (Key accountability areas):

• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting of Gas fire Boiler, water Chiller, Glycol chiller, Air Compressor, Cooling tower, HVAC system and Purified water system, including startup and shutdown procedures.
• Experience in Energy Management System (Implementation & Operation)
• Should understand P&ID, Flow Diagrams, SLD & data sheets, should be familiar with utility codes and standards.

• MTBF/MTTR, Basic Knowledge on cGMP document related to engineering.
• Should have Basic Knowledge on Lean /Six sigma etc.
• Sound Knowledge on Project documents like P&ID, PFD, Equipment data sheet, Equipment selection as per process.
• Should be Familiar with Preventive and Predictive maintenance, MTBR/MTBF etc.
• Should have Knowledge on cGMP document related to engineering environment and other Good Engineering Practices
• Should be familiar with Tools used for Root cause identification.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency in utility system troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis and optimize utility system efficiency.
• Familiarity with energy management and conservation techniques.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment principles.
• Knowledge of utility system performance optimization and troubleshooting techniques.

 

Additional/ Preferrable Skills:
• Knowledge of Water Quality Analysis.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, equipment cleaning, and minor repairs, can help in optimizing equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
