Technical Design Assistant - Apparel

The Technical Design Assistant will play an integral role in ensuring that their products are of the highest quality and meet the needs and expectations of customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Technical Design Team in developing technical packs with specifications for garment construction, fit, and materials
• Review and analyze samples to ensure accuracy in fit and construction
• Communicate with vendors to coordinate sample development, conduct fittings, and resolve any technical issues or concerns
• Manage and maintain digital and physical records of tech packs, fit comments, and other relevant information
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide technical expertise and contribute to project development

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field
• 1+ years' experience in technical design in the apparel industry
• Proficient in the Adobe Suite, Microsoft Excel, and other related software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and materials
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and highly organized in record-keeping and sample management.
