JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary of Position

This is a remote position on a 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention focused team. This position will provide operational oversight for staff who answer incoming IL 988 crisis calls as well as chat/text messages through Illinois 988.

Supports the Centerstone Mission, Vision and Values in delivering care that changes people’s lives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides operational oversight of Crisis Care Consultants and PRN staff.
• Responsible for development and oversight of new hire training and working with the Director, Clinical Supervisors and Quality Coordinator to coordinate schedules to meet needs of both the department and new hires.
• Manages resource database and updates all shared files and documents. 
• Responsible for scheduling of 24/7 crisis staff
• Responsible for collection of data and monthly invoicing of services
• Demonstrates high level of clinical knowledge and skill in providing call/chat/text clinical screenings, risk assessments, and crisis intervention to contacts
• Facilitates bi-weekly staff meetings, staff trainings and staff development functions
• Attends monthly operational and clinical LLCT meetings with Vibrant team to learn operational updates
• Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s Degree  in mental health or related field preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two years of experience in field of mental health, mental health trauma, or crisis management and suicide prevention required. One year of management preferred.
