The Manager, Benefits (Sr. Manager for the righ candidate) owns & drives our core benefits programs at Red Bull North America (RBNA) across both Healthcare & 401k. This role is the subject matter expert and key point of contact with our benefits vendors and employees, ensuring our programs run efficiently and deliver for our employees.
Job Description
BENEFITS PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Main point of contact for Benefits-related issues or concerns.
Ensure operational excellence in execution of day-to-day activities.
Develop process improvements based on internal feedback and vendor performance.
Evaluate program effectiveness, identifying alternatives/desirability of new programs/modifications to existing programs, based on vendor performance and internal feedback.
VENDOR MANAGEMENT
Own agendas and ongoing meetings to ensure relevant/urgent topics are addressed and resolved.
Manage vendor performance, ensuring vendor alignment and delivery on strategic goals.
Lead resolution/project management of escalations & high priority issues.
Highlight trends and opportunities across our Health & Welfare space to your manager, based on employee feedback and vendor performance.
BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION
Resolve enrollment-related issues & perform proactive system monitoring to ensure employees are correctly given enrollment windows.
Process vendor invoices.
Perform regular enrollment audits to ensure alignment between systems.
Compliance management, including audits and filings, to ensure plans are compliant.
Develop & provide trainings to the business on benefits.
401(k) PLAN ADMINISTRATION
Manage all aspects of Red Bull’s 401k plan, including our employer match, employee communications, managing escalations and working with our 401k vendor and payroll to resolve any issues.
Provide all necessary documentation as part of our annual 401k audit process.
Coordinate quarterly 401k committee meetings with external partner to regularly review plan performance and options that should be discussed.
RELATIONSHIPS & PATERNSHIPS
Build strong internal relationships within our Talent organization to maximize quality and delivery of work.
Answer all employee and internal inquiries and provide reminders where applicable.
Manage all employee escalations with speed and care.
Consistently build relationship capital with stakeholders, to effectively manage your program area.
Qualifications
3+ years of benefits management experience in plans with more than 5k members/self-funded plans with a valuation of $50M+.
401k plan management experience.
Knowledge of applicable laws (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA) required.
Proven ability to develop and drive innovative process improvements & solutions.
MS Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
Strong Project Management skills.
SAP & Ceridian knowledge preferred.
Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $140,000 This role is eligible for an annual bonus.
Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience.
The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
