Summary

The Project Coordinator will oversee and ensure implementation of lifecycle activities (start to finish product life cycle), including but not limited to graphic changes and end of life functions. The position will be heavily focused on customer-centric projects and will work closely with multiple areas of the business. 
The role will participate on cross-functional teams whose emphasis will be on delivering product lifecycle activities on-time across a variety of product types. They will also be accountable for building project plans, aligning partners, managing the timeline, communicating frequently to key stakeholders, and driving overall team accountability. 
While this role will function under general supervision, when direction is needed the role will take direction from the Sales Solutions Manager – on day-to-day activities.

Must reside in Boise, Id or being willing to relocate. 
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountability: Will serve as the liaison between leadership / project team (s). Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that project deliverables are achieved. This will be by prioritize activities as aligned to the business Strategy, manage multiple high-level projects concurrently and execute NPD (New Product Development) activities according to the company’s stage-gate process. 
  • Communication: Communicate status and project updates with all levels of the business (senior leaders to working teams) through building positive relationships and influencing others. Effectively present information which may include new ideas and suggested recommendations with clarity and simplicity. Develop action plans on delivery, while also including identified risks and potential solutions. Follow up on action plans to keep projects moving forward. 
  • Teamwork: Will build cohesive business relationships and collaborate effectively with others to achieve common department and cross functional business objectives
  • Problem Solving: Will define problems, collect data, establish facts and apply structured methodology to identify root cause through the use of data to draw valid conclusions to get an innovative solution, while factoring in risk mitigation and execution
  • Continuous Improvement: Continually seeks out and pursues opportunities to enhance process effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • May assist with other projects as assigned
     

Typical Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

1+ years related experience and/or training 

Required Certifications

Other Information

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university, with 1+ years related experience and/or training preferred. Desire to purse Project Management certifications.
  • Knowledge and comfort level with Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, & PowerPoint preferred. 
  • Ability to effectively build rapport, communicate with and work cohesively with employees at all levels of the business. 
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • This role prefers project management and leadership skills exposure. Demonstrated ability to influence within a rapidly evolving and cross-functional environment. The candidate should be open to learning the fundamental principles as they pertain to project management of commercializing projects. 
  • Critical thinking, listening, problem solving, & time management are key for this position.
