Job Description:

Information Security Analyst Senior

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Will implement Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) for network monitoring and security compliance to detect and prevent anomalous activities. 

• Will focus on automating and improving business processes related to ACAS.

• Provide configuration of discovery, vulnerability, and compliance scans

• Provide validation of correct scan execution and automated reporting

• Will review of discovery scan results to identify systems not being vulnerability scanned and automated reporting

• Will review of vulnerability scan results to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve credential and other common scan issues, and automated reporting

• Will review and compile scan results to support asset inventory requirements and automation

• Work closely with system administrators to maintain a minimum 98% credentialed access to all systems

• Provide assessment of scan results to identify areas where vulnerability remediation has the greatest impact on risk and automated reporting

• Provide Configuration of ACAS components to align with DISA best practice guidance

• Troubleshoot and resolved communications issues between ACAS software components, failed plugin updates, and other common software issues

• Provide automated reporting to external organizations via built-in publishing feature

• Maintain automated ACAS reporting to CMRS

• Conduct new hardware and software audits to confirm cyber hygiene of new systems before they are deployed to production

• Provide ACAS scanning support for Risk Management Framework authorizations

• Brief leadership weekly on vulnerability finding results across the enterprise

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related field.  Experience can be used in lieu of education requirement. Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 5+ years of related work experience.

• Requires work experience with ACAS ; Tenable Nessus.

• Certifications: Security+ Certification is required; CISSP preferred

• Prior DoD cybersecurity Combatant Command experience a plus

• TS/SCI clearance required

• Work location: CENTCOM, MacDill AFB, Tampa FL

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
